2.5 Light — Pure Rhythm Propagation
Opening Statement
Light is the purest form of a traveling closure — a coherent rhythm moving through Stillspace without the need for an anchored structure.
Definition
In RRM, light is a self-contained rhythmic structure whose closure occurs within its own phase pattern. It is a bending-string of phase-linked Etherons (1.3 Etherons), stabilized by a liquid-phase influence field, propagating through Stillspace (1.1 Stillspace) at the maximum stability rate the medium can support. In a uniform medium like vacuum Stillspace, this propagation is continuous — the rhythm flows through Etherons without discrete handoffs. A true handoff only occurs when the photon crosses into a different medium, where its pattern must be re-established in that medium’s native Etherons or equivalent units of rhythmic identity.
Core Mechanics
A photon’s closure is maintained by the periodic bending of its etheron string relative to the direction of travel.
As the string bends, the liquid-phase field stretches on the outer arc and folds inward on the inner arc, maintaining stability.
In vacuum, this bending-string pattern moves continuously through Stillspace without discrete jumps between carriers.
When transitioning to a new medium, the pattern is reconstructed in the medium’s own identity units, introducing delays and potential phase adjustments.
Relation to Fields
Light has minimal influence field compared to anchored rhythmic structures. It interacts with external fields primarily through phase resonance, entrainment, or bending when local coherence gradients alter its propagation path (e.g., gravitational lensing).
Role in RRM
Demonstrates that Stillspace can carry pure rhythmic energy without mass.
Provides a basis for understanding visibility, perception, and information transfer.
Acts as a universal probe of field structure through its interactions.

Echo Lines
Light is a song Stillspace never forgets.
It carries itself, asking nothing to hold it.
